This fruit is known by different names in different regions. In some places it is known as Tad Gola and in some places it is known as Ice Apple. This fruit is available in the market only during summers. Especially in the months of May-June. People of rural areas are seen cutting this fruit from the palm tree and selling it on the roadside.
Earning 400 in 2 hours
Suraj Paswan, who is selling palm fruit near Govindpur turn on Godda-Mahagama main road, said that in summer he plucks this fruit from different palm trees in the village. He comes to the city to sell palm fruit on the roadside. It only takes hard work to pluck the palm fruit. Apart from this, he does not spend even a rupee. By selling palm fruit, he earns up to 300-400 rupees in 2 hours every day.

Ayurveda experts say that during the summer season, Tadgola maintains the amount of water in the body. This fruit contains a lot of minerals, sodium and potassium, which help in maintaining fluid and electrolyte balance in the body and quenching thirst. This fruit is rich in fiber, which keeps the stomach clean. Along with this, it also contains enzymes that help in digestion during summer days.
